EXPLORATION
1. Targeting the mineral potential area
- Geological, structural and geochemical mapping on different scale varying from 1:50,000 to 1:2000 scale.
- Narrow down the target area for further detailed exploration
2. Exploration
- Detailed geological, geochemical and topographic mapping on 1:5000 to 1:1000 scale
- Delineation of the ore body by trenching, pitting, channel sampling/ chiseling and composite sampling.
- Drilling: Boreholes planning initially scout drilling and further detailed drilling.
- Borehole logging. Borehole survey, Preparation of litholog, sampling of the ore zones.
- Design of implementation of logging, sampling, QAQC and analysis protocol.
3. Geophysical exploration
- Implementation of different geophysical methods according to the requirement of commodity/ ore.
- Interpretation of the raw data and length wise, width wise and depth wise demarcation of sub surface ore body.
- Demarcation of different subsurface geological structures like fault, fold, shear zones, contacts of different litho units and unconformity.
- Ground water condition.
4. Quality control and quality assessment (QA/QC)
- In mining Industry Quality control and Quality assessment play a very important roll, therefore acceptance and rejection any data received from laboratory or from any one is carried out using proper soft ware.
- Group and batch wise control of chemical analytical results with statistical parameters to identify the accuracy, precision and extension of error.
- Demarcation of different subsurface geological structures like fault, fold, shear zones, contacts of different litho units and unconformity.
- Determination of inaccuracy in geological mapping, topographical survey, borehole survey and locations of different points.
5. Ground water study: Study of ground and surface water is a must requirement which is used in the Industries and pot ability, therefore its quality and quantity of availability is done at different stages.
6. Exploration data management
- In exploration huge data are generated, therefore it is important to manage the data in proper form so it can be easy to process along with its retrieval.
- We manage all the data in proper formats using proper software so they are easy to process.
7. Resource estimation
- Geological modeling creating 2D and 3Dgeometry of the ore body.
- Regular data assessment and analysis of exploration data
- Resource modeling and implementation of exploration technique accordingly.
- RQP sign off for exploration reports and resources.
8. Mine planning
- Mining plan is prepared according to the geometry and topography of the ore body and are for open cast/ underground mining.
- Year wise, 5 year wise or as per requirement the mine plane is prepared including mine closing plan.
- Bench wise quantity and quality is determined for open cast mining
9. Feasibility study
- Preliminary and definitive feasibility study of the mineral base industries is carried out.
- Selection of proper equipments for mining and plant.
10. Economic modeling
- Determination of the economic viability of the mineral base industries / mine including IRR and NPV etc.
- Cost estimation at different stages
11. Reports
- Preparation of detailed exploration report
- Preparation of detailed Feasibility report
- Mine Plan Report
GIS AND REMOTE SENSING
- Study of Images and aerial photographs to locate mineral deposits, geological structures, topographical variations.
- Use of different layers for integration work to target the mineral deposits and Geotechnical Projects using GIS.
- Other software which we are using as per requirement is SURFER, DATAMINE, MAPINFO, NTERDEX, GEOSOFT, SURPAC, ARC INFO Etc.
GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
- Detailed geotechnical mapping for different type of project varying on scale from 1:50,000 to 1:1000 scales according to the requirement of the project.
- Mapping on 1: 100 scale and 3D mapping of opening of cavity, foundation, tunnel or any underground structures.
- Determination of RQD and RMR and to suggest in designing and proper support systems.
- Slope stability studies and suggest ion for proper remedial measures.
- Determination of wedge failure conditions in any slope area.
- Detailed geotechnical study for foundation, dam, tunnel, railway, roads, underground cavities and openings.
- Preparation of the Project Report.
ACHIVEMENTS
- Ameta Mineral and Geotechnical Services (AMEGTS) are providing services for Mineral Exploration, Resource Estimation and Geotechnical Investigation in many countries including India. The team members of AMEGTS are working and have worked in Zimbabwe, Angola, Iran, Oman, Tanzania, Mozambic, Zambia, Bhutan, Nepal and India.
- Our team members have carried out mineral investigation/ exploration for copper, Gold, Lead, Zinc, Iron, Rare Earth, Limestone, Graphite, and other Industrial minerals for almost 35 years.
- Prepared and Submitted 15 Feasibility Reports.
- Three Project Reports with Economic Viability were prepared and submitted.
- Six major Project Reports on Geotechnical Investigations (Hydel Projects, Railway Projects, Tunnels, Underground Cavities and Earthquake Investigation) were prepared and submitted.
- At present 4 mines (one for gold, one for lead and zinc, one for graphite and one for limestone) are operative which were explored by our team members.
